Sanjay Pandita Replaces Suresh P. Manglani As CEO Of Adani Total Gas

Adani Total Gas has appointed Sanjay Pandita as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from May 22, 2026, replacing Suresh P. Manglani, who has been redesignated as Executive Director.

Pandita brings 25 years of experience across natural gas, LNG, LPG, and low-carbon energy solutions. Before joining Adani Total Gas, he worked at Reliance Industries and Jio-bp Mobility Solutions and also held leadership roles at Mahanagar Gas and Gujarat Gas. Earlier in his career, he worked with Nayara Energy in fuel retailing and sales management. Pandita has led projects in city gas distribution, LNG infrastructure, mobility solutions, and hydrogen-based initiatives linked to India’s clean energy transition. He holds qualifications in engineering and executive business management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

Manglani has more than three decades of experience in the oil and gas sector. He joined the company as CEO in September 2018 and has worked across midstream and downstream city gas distribution businesses. He spent around 17 years with joint ventures of British Gas and BP in India. Earlier, he worked with GAIL for about five years and later with Mahanagar Gas for over 13 years. He also held leadership and finance roles at Reliance Industries in refinery and petroleum retail businesses. His experience includes city gas distribution, petroleum retail, business operations, policy advocacy, and digital transformation initiatives.
