Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Appoints Anand Sen as Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Sundar Manganese & Iron Ores Limited has appointed Anand Sen as an Additional Director designated as Independent Director of the company for five years with effect from 15 May 2024. Subject to shareholders’ approval.

Sen has experience in driving growth, fostering innovation, and optimising operations. Sen is recognised for building high-performance teams and implementing transformative strategies that enhance profitability and shareholder value. He has been associated with the Tata Group for about 4 decades and has held several key leadership posts within the Group. He has handled various roles at Tata Steel India between 1981 and 2019. He led the overall strategic direction and operations of Tata International as Managing Director, for over 2 years. He is an Engineer from IIT Kharagpur and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (Marketing) from IIM Kolkata, and an Executive MBA degree from CEDEP at INSEAD, France.
