RBI Promotes Five Officers To Executive Director Positions

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has promoted officers Gunveer Singh, Monisha Chakraborty, Suman Ray, Sudhakar Malli, and Ravi Shankar to the position of Executive Directors. The central bank said the effective dates of their promotions will be announced separately.

According to the RBI, Singh, Chakraborty, Ray, and Malli belong to the Common Seniority Group cadre, while Ravi Shankar is from the Department of Statistics and Information Management cadre. The officers are currently posted across departments at the RBI Central Office and Mumbai Regional Office. The Executive Director role is part of the senior management structure at the RBI and oversees key operational and policy functions across departments.
