Ratnakar Patnaik & Dinesh Pant Appointed As Managing Directors Of LIC

Ratnakar Patnaik and Dinesh Pant have been appointed as Managing Directors (MDs) of Life Insurance Corporation of India, according to a release by the Financial Services Institutions Bureau, effective February 20, 2025.

Ratnakar Patnaik has also been appointed as a Managing Director of LIC. Before this appointment, he held the position of Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director at LIC. Patnaik joined LIC as a Direct Recruit Officer in September 1990 and has accumulated extensive experience across various roles, including heading divisions in Indore and Jamshedpur as Senior Divisional Manager and serving as Regional Manager (Marketing/CLIA) in the Eastern Zone.

Dinesh Pant has been appointed as a Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Prior to this role, he served as the Executive Director (Actuarial) and Appointed Actuary at LIC. Pant has been with LIC since 1989, bringing over three decades of experience to his new position.
