Rajeev Ranjan Resigned from Infosys to join Ness Digital Engineering
Infosys, India’s second-largest software company, has seen one more experienced leader leave. Rajeev Ranjan is the latest to leave after working at Infosys for more than 24 years. He was the Executive Vice President in charge of manufacturing in India and Japan. Now, he’s joined Ness Digital Engineering, a US-based engineering company, as its Chief Operating Officer.
Several senior executives have left Infosys in the past year. In August, the Chief Human Resource Officer, Richard Lobo, left after 23 years with the company. Earlier this year, two Presidents from Infosys, Mohit Joshi and Ravi Kumar S, became CEOs at other companies.
This wave of departures is seen at a time when the IT industry is growing slowly because of global economic challenges, spending cuts by Western clients, and worries about a potential recession due to geopolitical risks.
However, this isn’t just an Infosys problem. Other big IT companies like Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) are also experiencing high-level departures.
