Radico Khaitan Appoints Pushp Jain as Independent Director & Amar Singh as Whole-Time Director
The Board of Directors of Radico Khaitan Limited has approved the appointment of Pushp Jain as Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Independent Director for five years, with effect from May 30, 2024. He replaces Sarvesh Srivastava, whose tenure will end on May 29, 2024.
The Board also approved the appointment of Amar Singh as an Additional Director in the category of Whole-time Director for a term of five years, effective from July 2, 2024, to July 1, 2029. He replaced Krishan Pal Singh, who has submitted his resignation as a whole-time Director of the company with effect from July 1, 2024, citing personal reasons.
The above appointments shall be subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Pushp Jain, 49, currently serves as the Deputy Managing Director at KLJ Plasticizers. Jain assumes responsibility for the comprehensive management of the Chemicals Manufacturing Business, overseeing operations across multiple plants situated in Silvassa, Gujarat, Qatar, and Thailand. He graduated with a B.Com. (Honours) from the University of Delhi, completed a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, US, and possesses a diploma from Harvard University.
Amar Singh, 59, the Executive Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, joined Radico Khaitan in March 2022. With a stellar career spanning over three decades, Singh brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success to Radico Khaitan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Meerut University and honed his skills with a Diploma in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology from NSI, Kanpur, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in the manufacturing domain. He also holds a law degree from Meerut University. Throughout his career, Singh has held pivotal positions at esteemed organisations such as Pernod Ricard India, Mankapur Chini Mills, Blue Water Breweries & Distilleries, and the Sentini Group of Companies, Vijayawada.
