Radha Rajappa Reappointed As Independent Director of Bata India

Bata India Limited has approved the reappointment of Radha Rajappa as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective June 9, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.

Rajappa served as Executive Vice President (EVP) at Mindtree for 16 years, where she was part of the leadership team and worked on digital business development. She has also worked with global technology companies such as IBM and Microsoft during periods of major transformation in the sector. At present, she serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Zensar Technologies and KFin Technologies, where she contributes to strategic direction. She is also involved with early-stage technology startups. As Executive Chairperson of industrial AI Company Flutura, she supported its exit to Accenture. She is associated with Vunet Systems, where she supports the development of AI operations solutions. She is a business leader with over 30 years of experience in the information technology sector. Her work has focused on digital transformation, AI, and cloud technologies. She has also worked across sectors, including retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, travel, and hospitality.
