PTC India Ltd appoints Ravisankar Ganesan as Nominee Director

Effective from June 5, 2023, Ravisankar Ganesan, the current Director (Finance) at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), has been designated as the Nominee Director of POWERGRID on the Board of PTC India Ltd.

Ganesan (56) obtained a Mathematics degree from the University of Madras and is a certified Cost Accountant recognized by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Furthermore, Vijay Kumar Goel has successfully completed Post Graduate Diplomas in Personnel Management and Materials Management from Annamalai University, further adding to his qualifications and expertise.

Throughout his 32 years of professional experience, he has primarily worked at POWERGRID, gaining expertise in various finance functions such as Resource Mobilization, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Commercial, Works Accounting, and Retiral Benefits Fund Management. He has served in diverse roles across India, including Construction offices, Sub-stations, Regional Headquarters, and Corporate Center. Prior to his current position, he briefly worked at NLC India Limited. Ganesan assumed the position of Director (Finance) at POWERGRID in September 2022.
