Prashant Jhaveri, CEO of Flipkart Health+ quits

Prashant Jhaveri, the chief executive of Flipkart’s online pharmacy, Flipkart Health+, is leaving the company within less than a year of joining. According to the sources, Kanchan Mishra, an internal candidate, will succeed Jhaveri. Mishra will take over as CBO of Flipkart Health+, a company representative told ET. Mishra served as the controller of the food and consumer goods, home, and consumer goods divisions. She has served in a variety of roles for the Flipkart company for more than nine years. Jhaveri’s departure follows the restructuring being carried out by Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO of the Flipkart group. Adarsh Menon, senior vice president and head of new businesses at Flipkart, is also leaving the company as a result of the rejig.

According to numerous people familiar with Flipkart’s e-pharmacy operations, the company has increased its market share over the past 12 months.In addition to having a dedicated app for the vertical, Flipkart also offers its online pharmacy services through its main app.
