Prakash A Mody Reappointed as Chairman and MD of Unichem Laboratories Ltd

Unichem Laboratories Ltd announced the reappointment of Prakash A Mody as Chairman and Managing Director of the company on June 26, 2023, With over forty years of experience in the business, Mody has played a crucial role in the growth and expansion of the company’s operations. Under his leadership, Unichem Laboratories has successfully established its presence in more than eighty countries, including the United States, Europe, Ireland, South Africa, and Brazil.

Mody’s extensive experience is highlighted by his past tenure as the president of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance. He has been associated with Unichem Laboratories since 1974, initially joining as a Director. Mody holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Mumbai and has earned a Ph.D. in organic chemistry. Additionally, he is a distinguished graduate of Harvard Business School.
