Poonam Chandrakar Joins NLC India As Non-Official Independent Director

Poonam Chandrakar has been appointed as a Non-Official Independent Director on the Board of NLC India Limited for a period of three (3) years with effect from July 16, 2026.

Chandrakar is a public administrator with over two decades of experience in governance, public administration, and policy implementation. He has held leadership roles in public service, contributing to administrative reforms, infrastructure development and stakeholder engagement across sectors including power, mining and public administration. He holds a bachelor’s degree in arts from Kakatiya University, Warangal, and a diploma in marketing management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). He has also completed courses in Journalism and Arogya Ratna. His experience in public administration has provided him with expertise in institutional management, policy execution, and strategic decision-making.
