Pidilite Appoints Sudhanshu Vats As Managing Director, Kavinder Singh As Joint Managing Director

Pidilite Industries Limited has appointed Sudhanshu Vats as Managing Director, effective April 10, 2025, following a board meeting on April 1, 2025. Vats was previously designated as Managing Director Designate.

Sudhanshu Vats’ career spans 33 years across sectors, focusing on business growth and stakeholder value. Before joining Pidilite, he was the Managing Director and CEO of EPL Limited, where he led strategic growth initiatives. As Managing Director and Group CEO of Viacom18 Media Private Limited, he expanded the company’s digital footprint and increased revenue. He spent 20 years at Hindustan Unilever in sales, marketing, and general management, overseeing brands like Lipton, Surf Excel, and Lux. He has held leadership roles at BP’s Castrol India and industry bodies such as CII, BCCI, and ASCI. He is also involved in education-focused philanthropy. Vats holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a degree from NIT Kurukshetra.

Kavinder Singh, in his earlier tenure at Pidilite Industries, served as Chief Strategy Officer and CEO of the Consumer Products Business (MNT). His career spans the FMCG and hospitality sectors, with roles at Asian Paints, ITC Ltd, Pidilite Industries, and the Mahindra Group. Singh holds a mechanical engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and has attended the General Management Program at the Wharton School of Business. He has also participated in executive programs at Yale, IMD Lausanne, and Harvard Business School.
