Patanjali Govind Keswani Appointed As Chairman & Executive Director Of Lemon Tree Hotels

Patanjali Govind Keswani has been appointed as Chairman and Executive Director of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited for a period of 18 months with effect from October 1, 2025. The appointment was approved on August 7, 2026.

Keswani is the Chairman and Executive Director of Lemon Tree Hotels, a position he assumed in October 2025. He began his career with the Tata Administrative Service in 1983 and spent 17 years with the Tata Group, where he last served as Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Taj Group of Hotels. He later worked with management consulting firm A.T. Kearney as an Associate Consultant and Director in its India office. Keswani founded Lemon Tree Hotels in 2002 and has served as its Managing Director (MD) since October 2002. Under his leadership, the company was listed on the stock exchanges in April 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi and a postgraduate diploma in business management from IIM Calcutta.
