Pallavi Gupta, Harish Lakshman And Pradeep Jauhar Appointed As Independent Directors Of Lumax Industries

Pallavi Dinodia Gupta, Harish Lakshman and Pradeep Singh Jauhar have been appointed as Additional Non-Executive Independent Directors of Lumax Industries Limited for a period of five years each, starting on August 22, 2024.

Non-Executive Independent Directors Rattan Kapur, Avinash Parkash Gandhi and Dhiraj Dhar Gupta retired from the Board of Lumax Industries as they completed their second consecutive term on August 21.

Pallavi Dinodia Gupta is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). She is also trained as a lawyer and has worked with numerous global and domestic businesses in Europe, Asia and India over the past two decades. She has experience serving as an Independent Director on Boards and committees of publicly listed companies in India, like IndiaMART Intermesh Ltd. (e-commerce), Voith Paper Fabrics India Ltd. (manufacturing), National Engineering Industries Ltd. (manufacturing), and Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (pharmaceuticals).

Harish Lakshman is the Chairman of Rane Group. He started his career as a Management Associate at TRW Automotive Inc. and joined Rane Group in 1998 as AGM-Marketing at Rane TRW Steering Systems. He became MD in 2008 and Chairman in 2024. He also played a key role as President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA). He serves as an Independent Director of Oriental Hotels Ltd. and KCP Ltd. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BITS, Pilani, and a master’s degree in business from Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, USA.

Pradeep Singh Jauhar is MD and CEO of Jamna Auto Industries Ltd., and he has over 35 years of experience in the spring industry. He is the MD of Jai Parabolic Springs Ltd. and Director on the Boards of MAP Auto Ltd., NHK Spring India Ltd., and Fetish Marketing Ltd.
