Non-Executive Independent Director of Geojit Financial Services Rajan K Medhekar Retired

Rajan K Medhekar Non-Executive Independent Director of Geojit Financial Services Limited retired on January 29, 2024. Medhekar was appointed as Non Executive Independent Director on January 30, 2021 for a period of three years.

Rajan K Medhekar, a retired officer with 37 years in the Indian Police Service (IPS), had a distinguished career. Medhekar served in important roles in the Kerala State Police and with the Government of India, ending as the Director General of the National Security Guard (NSG). After retiring, he became a security consultant and currently leads the International Institute of Security and Safety Management (IISSM) in New Delhi. He received recognition with the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service. Additionally, he serves as a Director on the Boards of Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Limited and Logically Infomedia Private Limited. He graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and holds a postgraduate degree in Solid State Physics from Bombay University.
