Nishi Vasudeva Retires As Independent Director Of HCL Technologies

Nishi Vasudeva has retired as an Independent Director of HCL Technologies Limited upon completion of her tenure, effective July 31, 2026.

Vasudeva has received several recognitions, including the Platts Global Energy Awards’ CEO of the Year (2015), SCOPE’s Individual Leadership Award (2013–14), FICCI’s Exceptional Woman Achiever Award (2014), and was ranked among Fortune’s five Most Powerful Women in Asia-Pacific in 2014. Her areas of expertise include corporate strategy, enterprise resource management, retail and marketing, information systems, business transformation, margin management and regulatory affairs. Vasudeva is a corporate leader with experience in the oil and gas sector and was the first woman to head an oil and gas company in India. She holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi (DU).
