Neuland Laboratories’ Independent Director Bharati Rao Retired

Bharati Rao has completed her second term as an Independent Director and consequently ceased to be a Director of Neuland Laboratories Limited, with effect from May 8, 2024.

Bharati Rao was the first woman to become a Dy Managing Director of SBI. In 1972, she joined the SBI and held various posts in India and globally, working in fields like project finance, credit and risk management, foreign office development, HR, and M&A. She presently serves as an advisor to several other businesses in addition to being a nominated director on the boards of Vijaya Bank, SBICAP Ventures, SBICAP Securities, SBI Global Factors, SBI Capital Markets, and Suzlon Energy.
