
Natarajan Srinivasan Appointed As Non-Executive Chairman Of HDB Financial Services; Jimmy M. Tata Reappointed As Non-Independent Director
HDB Financial Services Limited has appointed Natarajan Srinivasan as Non-Executive Chairman and Additional Independent Director for a three-year term from May 14, 2026.
The Board also approved the reappointment of Jimmy Minocher Tata as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, subject to shareholder approval at the company’s 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for June 25, 2026.
Srinivasan previously served as Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company, where he worked on expanding the company’s financial services operations. He also served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and MD of CG Power and Industrial Solutions and was involved in the company’s restructuring and operational changes. He has served on the Boards of several listed and unlisted companies and specialises in financial management, governance, and business restructuring. Srinivasan is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with more than four decades of experience in finance, strategy, and business management. He has held leadership positions within the Murugappa Group across financial services and industrial businesses.
Tata has more than 33 years of experience in banking and finance. He has been associated with HDFC Bank since 1994 and currently serves as a Nominee Director on the Board of International Asset Reconstruction Company. Earlier in his career, he was associated with Apple Finance. He joined the Board of HDB Financial Services in July 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai and a master’s degree in financial management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He is also a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst.
