Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha To Take Over As Instamart CEO After Amitesh Kumar Jha Resigns
Swiggy-owned quick commerce platform Instamart will see a leadership change, with Nandita Sinha appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective August 3, 2026. The development was announced through a regulatory filing on Tuesday following the resignation of current CEO Amitesh Kumar Jha, who will step down to pursue opportunities outside the organisation.
Nandita Sinha is the CEO of Instamart, having joined the company from Myntra, where she served as CEO. With more than two decades of experience, she has led businesses across the fashion, e-commerce and FMCG sectors. During her career, she has held leadership positions at Myntra, Flipkart, Britannia and Hindustan Unilever. An alumna of the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) and the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, Sinha is known for her customer-centric approach, operational execution and focus on innovation. At Myntra, she led the company’s growth to become India’s largest fashion e-commerce platform, expanding its market share after the business achieved EBITDA profitability in 2024.
Amitesh Kumar Jha has been serving as the CEO of Instamart since September 4, 2024. Before joining Instamart, he spent 14 years at Flipkart Private Limited, where he served as Senior Vice President (SVP) and held leadership roles across the company’s operations. His experience spans e-commerce, supply chain management and business operations, with a focus on scaling consumer-facing businesses and operational efficiency. Jha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology (Chemical Engineering) and a Master’s degree in Technology (Process Engineering and Design) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. He also completed the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
