Manali Petro Elevates R. Chandrasekar To MD & CEO & G. R. Sridhar To Head Of Plant Operations
R. Chandrasekar, Managing Director (MD) in domestic and international business of the Manali Petrochemicals Limited (MPL) Group, has been elevated, redesignated, and appointed as MD & CEO of MPL Group w.e.f. February 01, 2025, subject to the approval of shareholders.
G. R. Sridhar, Whole-Time Director (Operations), has been redesignated as Whole-Time Director (Head of Plant Operations) w.e.f. February 01, 2025, subject to the approval of shareholders.
Hugo Patrice Michel Chardon has been appointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director (Additional Director) of Manali Petrochemicals Limited w.e.f. February 05, 2025.
Niranjhan Madras Srinivasan has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of the company w.e.f. February 05, 2025.
Chandrasekar has nearly 35 years of experience in finance, accounts, audit, taxation, legal, and secretarial functions. He has held senior positions as General Manager and Chief Financial Officer in major Indian corporations and was associated with a global group in the Middle East for over a decade. He has also held directorships in Indian companies and was the Whole-Time Director of SICAGEN India Ltd. Chandrasekar is a graduate of commerce and a Chartered Accountant. He is a certified SAP consultant and lead auditor.
Sridhar is a qualified chemical engineer from Annamalai University. He joined MPL on January 17, 2022, as General Manager (Operations). With 33 years of experience, he was previously associated with Ultramarine Pigments as AVP Operations. He has extensive experience in production, maintenance, R&D, safety, and environmental management.
Chardon is the Co-Founder and Director of Investments at Amrock Ventures Ltd., a London-based venture capital. He has expertise in business processes, strategy and policy, finance, M&A, risk management, and investment management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematical finance and economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, Brazil, and a M.Sc. in applied econometrics – asset management from IAE Paris-Est.
Srinivasan is a distinguished advocate, accountant, and auditor with expertise in law, financial management, and information systems auditing. His litigation practice covers multiple courts in India, including the High Courts of Delhi and Madras, focusing on commercial disputes, corporate law, civil and criminal litigation, family and inheritance law, cyber law, and real estate matters. With expertise in legal strategy, financial management, and risk mitigation, he provides insightful solutions that ensure compliance, protect interests, and encourage business growth.
