Mohan A. Chandavarkar Reappointed MD of FDC
Mohan A. Chandavarkar has been re-appointed as a Managing Director of FDC Limited for a 5 years term with effect from April 01, 2024. While, Nandan M. Chandavarkar has been reappointed as a Joint Managing Director for a period of 5 years with effect from March 01, 2024. Also, Nomita R. Mohan Anand Chandavarkar is the Managing Director of the FDC, and also serves as the Chairman of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee while being a Member of the Audit Committee and Stakeholders Relationship Committee. He has 56 years of experience in Production, Marketing Operations, International Business, and Administration at FDC. He joined FDC in 1958 as a Laboratory Assistant and became the Joint Managing Director in 1967. In 1999, he assumed the role of Chairman and Managing Director. Under his leadership, the company has achieved remarkable growth in all areas and expanded its presence in both Indian and international markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Degree from Bombay University.
Nandan M. Chandavarkar serves as the Joint Managing Director of the FDC Limited. He joined FDC in 1993 and became the Joint Managing Director in 2004. He has experience in various aspects of the company, including Technical, Regulatory, and Marketing Operations. He oversees several important functions such as Technical & Operations, Distribution, Human Resources, Business Development, Research & Development (Formulation), Corporate Quality Control, Research & Development (Biotech), Sales Force Excellence, Medical Services, Trademark & Patent, and Marketing Divisions within the company. He plays a key role in managing the company alongside the Managing Director. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from Karnataka University.
Nomita R. Chandavarkar joined FDC Limited in June 2014 as an Executive Director. Later, in April 2022, she was reappointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. She serves as a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and Whistle Blower Committee within the company. She holds a position as a Director at DSS OutSourcing Solutions Private Limited. She is responsible for overseeing the company’s charitable initiatives. She completed her commerce degree at the University of Bombay.
