Metropolis Healthcare Appoints Purvi Sheth As Independent Director & Diya Suri As Chief People Officer
Purvi Sheth has been appointed as Independent Director (Additional Director) of Metropolis Healthcare Limited with effect from March 17, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders. While Anita Ramachandran, has stepped down from the Board.
Diya Suri has been appointed as Chief People Officer of the company with effect from April 01, 2025. She has succeeded Ishita Medhekar.
Purvi Sheth is the CEO of Shilputsi Consultants, India’s first strategic HR consulting firm, with over 25 years of experience in leadership and business growth. She serves on the Boards of Shoppers Stop, Ambuja Cements, and Kirloskar Industries, chairing key committees. She was the recipient of the 2022 Abhyudaya Award for HR Strategist of the Year and is a certified Board Director, POSH Practitioner, and GE Certified Recruiter. Sheth is an industry speaker and guest columnist. She holds a BA in economics and political science from St. Xavier’s College, Bombay, and a CPD in business strategy from Wharton.
Diya Suri has over two decades of experience in strategic people initiatives, culture building, employee engagement, and talent management. She has led people transformations and implemented policies supporting organisational growth. Her experience spans telecom, retail, and QSR, including leadership roles at McDonald’s and Indian startup Third Wave Coffee.
