Meta Appoints Dina Powell McCormick & Patrick Collison To Board Of Directors
Meta Platforms has announced the addition of Dina Powell McCormick and Patrick Collison to its Board of Directors, effective April 15, 2025. The company will expand its Board to 15 members.
Powell McCormick, a former senior leader at Goldman Sachs and former deputy national security adviser, has also served as a White House adviser and assistant secretary of state under President George W. Bush. Collison, the CEO of fintech firm Stripe and Co-Founder of the company, was previously part of Meta’s Advisory Group. CEO Mark Zuckerberg noted that both Powell McCormick and Collison have vast experience in supporting economic development and entrepreneurs. The move follows several policy changes made by Meta earlier this year, including shifts in leadership and diversity programs.
