McKinsey Senior Partner Vikram Malhotra Elected To Bank Of New York Board Of Directors
Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY) has elected Vikram “Vik” Malhotra as an Independent Director, effective October 1, 2026. Following his appointment, BNY’s Board will have 12 Directors, including 11 independent members.
Malhotra has been a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company since 1998 and joined the consulting firm in 1986. During his career at McKinsey, he served as Chairman of the Americas, a member of the firm’s Shareholders Council, and held leadership roles in its banking and life insurance practices. He has also served on the Wharton Advisory Board since 2021 and was Chair of the Wharton Graduate Executive Board from 2015 to 2021. He is a Trustee Emeritus of the Asia Society and serves on the board of Touch Health. Malhotra holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from the London School of Economics. He has also co-authored two leadership books.
