Marvell Technology Appoints Former Adobe CFO Dan Durn As Finance Chief
Marvell Technology has appointed Dan Durn as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 15, 2026, as the semiconductor company seeks to expand its presence in the growing artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure market.
Durn succeeds Willem Meintjes, who is stepping down after more than three years as CFO. Meintjes will continue with the company in an advisory capacity through April 2027 to support the leadership transition.
Before joining Marvell, Durn served as CFO & Executive Vice President (EVP) at Adobe and previously held senior finance positions at Applied Materials, NXP Semiconductors, Freescale Semiconductor, and GlobalFoundries. Before Adobe, he was Senior Vice President (SVP) and CFO at Applied Materials. He also served as CFO at NXP Semiconductors and GlobalFoundries, and held leadership positions in mergers and acquisitions at Mubadala Technology Fund and Goldman Sachs. He was named “Bay Area CFO of the Year” by The San Francisco Business Times in 2024. Durn holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a degree in Control Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
