Manta Dey Appointed as Independent Director at Bharat Road Network

The Board of Directors of Bharat Road Networks Limited has approved the appointment of Dr. Manta Dey as an Additional Director (category of Independent) for a term of five years with effect from February 6, 2024. The board has also approved the reappointment of Santanu Ray as an Independent Director for a term of five years, effective July 30, 2024, along with his continuation as a director upon attaining the age of 75.

Manta Dey has over 17 years of academic experience in reputed business schools and 10 years of industry, audit, and entrepreneurial experience. Previously, Dey was the Pan India Academic Head and HOD of Techno India University in a joint venture with ICA Edu Skills. Her areas of interest include Audit, Banking, Law, Corporate Finance, Management Accounting, and Taxation while imparting knowledge to graduate and postgraduate students. She has presented and published various scholarly articles and is responsible for managing a wide gamut of activities like planning and implementing the New Education Policy (NEP) as Chairman of the University Board of Studies. She holds a PhD, an MBA in Finance, an M.COM, and a CA-intermediate. She is an Associate Professor, Department of Management at Amity University.
