Mahender Chhabra appointed CFO of Motherson Sumi Wiring

Motherson Sumi Wiring India Ltd appointed Mahender Chhabra as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company on 10th July 2023. He replaced Gaya Nand Gauba.

Mahender Chhabra is a Chartered Accountant by profession, with a corporate career spanning over two decades in Business Planning, Financial Controllership, Supply Chain, Commercial Management, and Finance Operations. He is a strong finance professional skilled at Business Partnership and stakeholder management through collaboration with an objective to drive growth and profitability with a proactive and forward-looking approach towards investment analysis and decision-making, the company said in a statement. Mahender Chhabra joined HMD Global where he was working as CFO for India. Prior to this, he worked with companies like Nokia, Microsoft, Airtel, and PepsiCo.

Yuichi Shimizu has also been appointed as the Nominee Director of the company on 10th July 2023. He replaced Yoshio Matsushita.
