Liberty Shoes Reappoints Independent Directors And Appoints Executive Director

Liberty Shoes Limited has received shareholders’ approval for the reappointment of Piyush Dixit and Anand Das Mundhra as Independent Directors for a three-year term, effective from August 11, 2026 to August 10, 2029.

The shareholders also approved the appointment of Raman Bansal as Director/Executive Director for a three-year term.

Piyush Dixit has been associated with Liberty Shoes as a Non-Executive Independent Director since 2023. He is the Founder and CEO of Unicel Corporation Pvt. Ltd. and has around 32 years of industry experience across core manufacturing, automobiles, consumer durables and telecom. He brings experience in entrepreneurship, administration and business management.

Anand Das Mundhra has been associated with Liberty Shoes as a Non-Executive Independent Director since 2023. He is involved in the business of capital equipment such as transformers, HT breakers, cables and DG sets used for external electrification. He is associated with Shree Nursingsahay Mudungopal (Engineers) Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, and has extensive experience in business development.

Raman Bansal, 64, has been associated with Liberty Shoes since 1984. Before becoming Executive Director, he served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a qualification in footwear designing from ARS SITPROA. He oversees footwear sourcing, distribution, marketing and the company’s retail network.
