Kong Sau Wai Elizabeth Resigns As Non-Executive Non-Independent Director Of 3M India

Kong Sau Wai Elizabeth has tendered her resignation as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of 3M India Ltd. by letter dated October 20, 2026, effective at the close of business on November 6, 2026, to pursue professional opportunities outside 3M.

Kong is APAC General Counsel at 3M, where she also leads corporate strategy initiatives and serves as a non-executive director of 3M India. She is an Independent Non-Executive Director at Sentosa Development Corporation and previously served on the board of Singapore Post. Her legal career includes senior roles at Clifford Chance and Morgan Lewis, where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, corporate governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.

She holds a dual Executive MBA from INSEAD and Tsinghua University, graduating with distinction and earning a place on the Dean’s List. She earned a Double First-Class BA in Law from the University of Cambridge and completed her A-Levels at National Junior College with seven distinctions.
