Kokuyo Camlin’s Independent Directors Shishir Desai and Sriram Venkataraman retired

Shishir B. Desai and Sriram Venkataraman retired from the position of the Independent Directors of Kokuyo Camlin Ltd. on completion of their respective second terms of office as Independent Directors of the company, effective March 31, 2024.

In another management change, the Board of Directors of Kokuyo Camlin Limited has approved the appointment of Mr. Takashi Ohashi as the President of Research and Development, effective April 8, 2024. Takashi Ohashi will be a Senior Management Personnel.

Ohashi has completed his B. S. in Wood Products Chemistry from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in Tokyo, Japan. He has around 33 years of experience in the field of research and development across various organisations.

Ohashi replaces Keiji Kai, who ceased to be President, Research & Development of the Company (Senior Management Personnel), with effect from April 2, 2024, pursuant to the conclusion of his secondment arrangement with the company by Kokuyo Co. Ltd., the parent organisation.
