Kevan Parekh succeeds Luca Maestri as Apple’s new CFO
Apple has named Kevan Parekh as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2025, succeeding Luca Maestri, who will transition to a new role within Apple’s Corporate Services teams. Parekh, an Indian-origin engineer currently serving as Apple’s Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, brings a wealth of experience to his new position.
Having spent 11 years at Apple, Parekh has been instrumental in shaping the company’s financial strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Before joining Apple, Parekh had a successful career at Thomson Reuters and General Motors. At Reuters, he served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Treasurer, while at General Motors, he held positions as Director of Business Development in New York and Regional Treasurer in Zurich.
Parekh’s appointment reflects significant changes within Apple’s leadership team, marking a new chapter for the company.
