J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals’ Chairman & Independent Director Ranjit Shahani Passes Away

J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited has announced the sad demise of Ranjit Shahani, Chairman and Non-Executive, Independent Director of the company, on March 9, 2024.

Ranjit Shahani has worked for over four decades in various sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, health technology, and specialty chemicals. Shahani’s professional journey started at Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in India, where he contributed to their fibres and specialty chemicals divisions. Later, he served as the Managing Director and Vice Chairman at Novartis India. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
