ITC appoints Alka Bharucha as ID, Elevates Hemant Malik to the board

Company has announced the elevation of Hemant Malik as a Whole Time Director for a three-year term starting from August 12, 2023. Since October 2016, he has held the position of Divisional Chief Executive of the Foods Business. With extensive experience in sectors like Tobacco, Lifestyle Retailing, and Packaged Foods, Hemant has held significant positions within the organisation, including Manager for the Wills World Cup in 1995 and Head of Marketing for the Foods Business in 2002. He has also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Trade Marketing & Distribution, COO of Cigarette Brands and Supply Chain, and Divisional Chief Executive of ITD. Hemant actively contributes to industry committees as the Chairman of the FICCI Food Processing Committee and a Member of the CII FMCG Committee.
