Isha Ambani joins the Board of Reliance Strategic Investments Ltd

Reliance Industries Ltd has appointed Isha Ambani Piramal as Non-Executive Director of its demerged financial services unit Reliance Strategic Investments Ltd (RSIL). The Reserve Bank of India and members of RSIL must approve the nominations made by the Board of Directors of Reliance Industries on July 7, 2023, and their responsibilities will start on the day the RBI grants its permission.

RIL also announced the appointment of Hitesh Kumar Sethia as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of RSIL. Sethia is a senior financial services executive with over 20 years of experience in Europe, Asia, and North America. As the very first employee of lClCl Bank in Germany and as a major participant of the set-up team for lClCl Bank Canada, he participated in the establishment and scaling of operations.

Additionally, the RIL Board has approved Anshuman Thakur as a Non-Executive Director, and nomination of Rajiv Mehrishi, Sunil Mehta, and Bimal Manu Tanna to the RSIL Board as Independent Directors for a term of five years.
