Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, and Anant Ambani to Join the RIL Board

The Board of Directors of Reliance Industries Limited considered and recommended to shareholders for approval the appointment of Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, and Anant Ambani as Non-Executive Directors of the Company at its meeting, based on the recommendation of the Human Resources, Nomination, and Remuneration Committee. Their appointment shall take effect on the date they assume office following shareholder approval.

The Board of Directors also accepted Nita Ambani’s resignation from the Board, Nita Ambani, as Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, will attend all RIL Board meetings as a permanent invitee so that the Company can continue to benefit from her guidance. Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, and Anant Ambani have been extensively involved with, and are leading and managing, significant RIL businesses including retail, digital services, and energy and materials. They also sit on the boards of RIL’s important subsidiaries. Their appointment to RIL’s Board of Directors will allow RIL to benefit from their views and infuse new ideas, according to the Board.
