Two Independent Directors, Sanjay Bhatia and Arvind Bali resign from Liberty Shoes

Arvind Bali Kumar and Sanjay Bhatia have resigned from the post of Independent Directors at Liberty Shoes Limited effective May 24, 2023.

Arvind Bali also served as the Chairman of two important board committees, the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Bali has cited pre-occupancy with other engagements and personal reasons for quitting the board position, as per the resignation letter available on the exchanges’ website. Sanjay Bhatia was also a member of the company’s audit committee. He is the Managing Director of Hindustan TIN Works Limited.
