Independent Directors L. B. Reddy And B. V. Rama Rao Have Retired From KNR Constructions’s Board
The second term of Lodugu Balarami Reddy and B. V. Rama Rao as Independent Directors of KNR Constructions Limited ended on September 30, 2024. Accordingly, they cease to be Independent Directors w.e.f. 1st October 2024 and also cease to be members and Chairman of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and member of Risk Management Committee respectively.
B.V. Rama Rao’s career spans over three decades, beginning with the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1973, where he served in key roles, including Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Chairman of Nizam Sugars Limited. He was also honoured as an Overseas Fellow Member of the Economic Development Institute by the World Bank. Rao holds a Master’s in Economics from Osmania University, Telangana, and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University, Massachusetts.
Lodugu Balarami Reddy is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has three decades of experience, and he is a senior partner at L. B. Reddy & Co. His career began with Syndicate Bank, where he rose to the position of General Manager. He also served as Chairman of Rayalaseema Grameena Bank (now Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank) for six years.
