Kavas Patel and Keki Elavia have stepped down as Independent Directors of Dai-Ichi Karkaria Limited, they completed their second consecutive term on September 22, 2023.

Kavas Patel specialises in managing the finances of the company. He serves on the boards of several companies, including Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd., Nalco Champion Dai-ichi India Pvt. Ltd., and Indian Oxides and Chemicals Pvt. Ltd, Uni Klinger Ltd., Inarco Pvt. Ltd., and Zinnia Properties Pvt. Ltd. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing the finances as a Trustee at the Sardar Dastur Schools Trust, which oversees five educational institutions. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics and has been a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 1972.

Keki Elavia is a Chartered Accountant with over 45 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and finance. He serves as a non-executive independent director on the boards of various companies, including Goa Carbon Ltd., Allcargo Logistics Ltd., Grindwell Norton Ltd., DCB Bank Ltd., Godrej Industries Ltd., Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Tata Asset Management Ltd., Go Airlines (India) Ltd., and The Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Ltd. Additionally, he is a trustee for charitable organisations dedicated to education and religious causes.
