Independent Director Sudhakar Rao Retired From Tata Elxsi

The term of Sudhakar Rao, Independent Director of Tata Elxsi, came to an end on September 2, 2024.

Sudhakar Rao is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. He currently serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of various companies and institutions, including Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., CMC Ltd., and Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India and the India chapter of Common Purpose. He is also associated with the IFFCO Foundation, the Varalaxmi Foundation of the GMR group, and serves as the Chairman of the advisory group for the Bangalore School of Music. He served the Union Government and the state government of Karnataka. He held the post of Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Shimoga District. His notable leadership roles include Chairman and Managing Director of the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC). He served as a member of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). He holds a Master’s Degree from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
