Hindustan Copper Re-designates Three Senior Executives, Shifts Key Project Responsibilities

Hindustan Copper Ltd. has re-designated three senior managerial personnel as part of a reshuffle that will see changes at its corporate office and key copper projects. The changes were made through an office order dated September 25, 2026, with the new responsibilities taking effect from the respective dates of joining, on or before October 9, 2026.

Under the restructuring, Nagesh Gopalkrishna Shenoy, currently Executive Director and Unit Head of the Malanjkhand Copper Project, has been re-designated as Executive Director, Mining Production, Safety & ISO Chief at the Corporate Office. Abhimanue Singh, currently Executive Director and Unit Head of the Taloja Copper Project and Gujarat Copper Project, will take charge as Executive Director and Unit Head of the Malanjkhand Copper Project. Tarak Nath Nayak, currently General Manager, Engineering Services at the Corporate Office, will become Unit Head of the Taloja Copper Project and Gujarat Copper Project while also continuing to hold charge of the Engineering Services department.

Shenoy has been with Hindustan Copper since December 2017 and is currently listed by the company as Executive Director responsible for the Malanjkhand Copper Project. His move to the corporate office will place him in charge of mining production, safety and ISO-related responsibilities.

Singh joined Hindustan Copper in 1991 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Mechanical Engineering. The company’s official profile records his experience across mechanical maintenance, project erection and commissioning, copper smelting, electrorefining, metal recovery and sulphuric acid production. He has headed the Gujarat Copper Project since 2020 and the Taloja Copper Project since 2022. He is currently listed as Executive Director and Unit Head for both projects.

Nayak joined Hindustan Copper in November 2023 and is currently listed as General Manager, Engineering Services, at the Corporate Office. Under the new arrangement, he will take responsibility for the Taloja and Gujarat Copper Projects while retaining charge of Engineering Services.
