Hemendra Shah has Resigned from Deep Energy and Deep Industries

Hemendra Kumar Shah has tendered his resignation as a Non Executive Independent Director of Deep Energy and Deep Industries with immediate effect on October 17, 2023, due to personal reasons (preoccupation and paucity of time). Consequently, he shall also cease to be a Chairman/Member of the Audit Committee, Stakeholders Relationship Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Hemendra Kumar Shah has more than 35 years of experience in finance, accounting, banking, and other related areas. Shah worked for various companies, including Calico Mills and ONGC, where he held roles like General Manager and Company Secretary. He also served as Deputy General Manager and Company Secretary at Adani Enterprise Ltd. and as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Elecon Engineering Co. Ltd. Currently, he’s the President-Finance at Sadbhav Engineering Ltd. He’s received awards for his contributions, such as the Excellence in Corporate Governance Award from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and the best CMA-CFO Award from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Kolkata. He’s also been associated with several educational institutions. He is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, a qualified Company Secretary (CS), and a qualified Cost and Management Accountant.
