Havells India Reappoints Namrata Kaul & Ashish Bharat Ram As Independent Directors For Second Term
Havells India Limited has reappointed Namrata Kaul and Ashish Bharat Ram as Independent Directors for a second term of five years, ahead of its 43rd Annual General Meeting scheduled on June 19, 2026.
Kaul spent a significant part of her career with Deutsche Bank, where she served as Managing Director (MD) and India Head of the Corporate Bank business. In this role, she oversaw corporate banking operations and was responsible for risk management, credit, compliance, and regulatory reporting. She currently serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of several companies and is actively involved in mentoring early-stage technology ventures. She also contributes to the social development sector through leadership roles with CARE International and CARE India. A Chevening Scholar, she is an alumna of Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, the London School of Economics, and the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
Ram is the Chairman and MD of SRF Ltd. and a business leader with extensive experience in corporate strategy, manufacturing, and global business operations. Before SRF, he worked with American Express Bank in India and Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan. He has also served in leadership roles at the Young Presidents’ Organisation (YPO) and is actively associated with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He has received recognition for his contributions to corporate leadership and business growth. Ram holds a degree in Economics from Hindu College, University of Delhi, and an MBA in Corporate Strategy from Cornell University, USA.
