Hatsun Agro Product Appoints Bharathi Baskar as Independent Woman Director

The Board of Directors of Hatsun Agro Product Limited has approved the appointment of Bharathi Baskar as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Independent Woman Director for five years with effect from July 15, 2024. It is subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.

Bharathi Baskar is a Banker with more than three decades of experience in the areas of operations, regulatory compliance and customer service. She is a famous television personality and an ace debater. Besides this she is also a motivational speaker and a writer who has authored five books on various women empowerment topics. She is also the recipient of the Tamil Nadu Government’s Literary Award — “Kambar Vizidhu 2022”.

G Somasundaram has also tendered his resignation from the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the company and he will be relieved from the services with effect from July 31, 2024.
