Godrej Consumer Products’ Independent Director Ndidi Nwuneli Resigned
Ndidi Nwuneli Independent Director of Godrej Consumer Products Limited, has tendered her resignation with effect from May 1, 2024, on account of additional responsibilities taken by her in other organisations. Consequently, she will also cease to be a member of the Audit, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Environmental, Social, and Governance Committees of the company.
Ndidi Nwuneli serves as the Managing Partner at Sahel Consulting and is a Co-founder of AACE Foods. She is also the Founder of LEAP Africa. She began her career as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Her accomplishments have been widely recognised, including being named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and receiving a National Honour from the Nigerian Government. Forbes listed her among the 20 Youngest Power African Women. She holds positions on several Boards, including Nestle Nigeria Plc., Nigerian Breweries Plc. (Heineken), Fairfax Africa Holdings Canada, the World Vegetable Centre, the Royal DSM Sustainability Board in the Netherlands, and the Centre for Memories. She is the author of “Social Innovation in Africa: A Practical Guide for Scaling Impact,” published by Routledge. She is also a TED Global speaker, and her insights have been featured on major international and local media outlets such as CNN and the BBC, among others. She earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated with honours from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
