
Girish G. Gangal To Step Down As CFO Of Hindustan Construction Company; Rahul Shukla Set To Take Charge As New CFO
The Board of Hindustan Construction Company Limited has approved the retirement of Girish Govind Gangal as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the Company, effective May 31, 2025.
The Board has also approved the appointment of Rahul Shukla, who currently serves as Deputy CFO, as the new CFO and KMP of the Company, effective June 1, 2025.
Gangal has over 36 years of experience in the finance domain. He has been with HCC for 13 years, holding various senior positions, including Chief Financial Advisor to HCC and the Promoter Group. In his previous role as CFO for HCC E&C, he managed the finance function, including accounting, treasury, cash flow, budgeting, business planning, and consolidation of subsidiary entities. He also served as Senior Vice President (Group Taxation), overseeing direct and indirect taxation, international taxation, transfer pricing audits, and withholding tax issues. Before joining HCC, he held roles at companies such as Ambuja Cements Ltd, Real Value Appliances Ltd, Lyka Labs Ltd, and KEC International Ltd. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
