Gabriel India Welcomes Subbu V. R. Behara As Non-Executive Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Gabriel India Limited approved the appointment of Subbu Venkata Rama Behara as a Non-Executive Independent Director (Additional Director), effective December 14, 2024.

Subbu joined the Tata Administrative Service in 1977 and worked at Tata Motors, where he played a key role in launching the TATA 2213, India’s first mass-produced heavy commercial vehicle. Later, he joined Hyundai Motor India, where he transformed the brand into India’s second-largest car company. He now leads a strategy consulting firm, Beyond Visual Range, and serves as Chairman of MTAR Technologies and a board member of KPIT Technologies. Subbu holds a master’s in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a postgraduate diploma in international trade from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
