Future Consumer Ltd Chairman GN Bajpai resigns

GN Bajpai, the Chairman of Future Consumer Limited, has resigned from his position of Independent Director and Non-executive Chairman, effective from June 2, 2023. Bajpai is a highly accomplished professional, having previously served as the Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), among other prestigious roles. He has an impressive educational background, including a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Agra and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Indore. Bajpai has also contributed to academia by delivering lectures at renowned institutions such as the London School of Economics, Harvard University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With his vast experience and expertise, he has made significant contributions to the development of finance and has authored three books. Bajpai has been associated with Future Consumer Limited since February 20, 2008.
