Estée Lauder Appoints Akhil Shrivastava as Executive VP & CFO

Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has announced the appointment of Akhil Shrivastava as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from November 1, 2024. He will replace Tracey T. Travis, who is set to retire on June 30, 2025. In his new role, Akhil will report to William P. Lauder, Executive Chairman, and Fabrizio Freda, President and CEO, maintaining the current reporting structure.

Akhil Shrivastava brings over 25 years of experience to this role. He will oversee global finance, accounting, tax, Treasury, investor relations, and new business development at Estée Lauder. He will lead the Global Finance & Strategy (F&S) organisation, focusing on enhancing agility, consumer focus, and strategic business objectives to drive long-term value creation and governance.

Since joining Estée Lauder in 2015, he has held various senior finance positions. Recently, as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, he managed corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, and other key financial functions. Previously, as Senior Vice President and Treasurer, he handled Treasury functions, enterprise risk, real estate, and retirement funds. Before joining Estée Lauder, he worked for Procter & Gamble in various finance roles, including Finance Director for Gillette, North America. He holds a degree from Engineering College in Rewa, India, and a Master’s in Finance and Control from Delhi University.
