Dr. Anil Khandelwal Steps Down As Independent Director Of Rashi Peripherals Over Governance Concerns
Dr. Anil Khandelwal has resigned as an Independent Director of Rashi Peripherals, effective August 24, 2026, citing differences over governance practices, the company said in a regulatory filing. He also flagged commercial assignments involving firms associated with other Independent Directors in connection with an acquisition, citing concerns over transparency and governance processes.
Dr. Khandelwal is the former Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Bank of Baroda. He has experience in banking, leadership development and organisational transformation. He has worked with the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance, where he has been involved in training Nominee Directors of public sector companies. He chaired the Khandelwal Committee on Human Resources in Public Sector Banks, which examined HR practices and reforms in the banking sector. He has also been associated with leadership development and organisational change initiatives. Dr. Khandelwal is an international speaker on transformational leadership and has addressed organisations on leadership, human resources and institutional transformation.
