Domino’s Appoints Joe Jordan As CEO; Russell Weiner To Become Executive Chairman
Joe Jordan is set to become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Domino’s Pizza, effective October 1, 2026. He will succeed Russell Weiner, who will retire as CEO and transition to the role of Executive Chairman.
As part of the plan, Weiner will serve as Executive Chairman Designate from October 2026 and assume the Executive Chairman position following the company’s 2027 annual shareholder meeting. Jordan will also join Domino’s Board of Directors when he takes charge as CEO.
The company also said David Brandon, Executive Chairman and a long-serving Board Member, will retire and not seek re-election to the Board in 2027, ending a 28-year association with Domino’s.
Joe Jordan is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President of Domino’s U.S., and has spent nearly 15 years in leadership roles across marketing, operations, technology, and franchisee support. Since joining Domino’s in 2011, he has held several leadership roles, including Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President (International), where he led the company’s international expansion and growth initiatives. He has also overseen international expansion initiatives and key digital platform developments. He holds an MBA from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary. He also serves on the board of Boston Beer Company.
Russell Weiner has served as CEO of Domino’s since May 2022, leading the company’s global operations and growth strategy. Before becoming CEO, he was COO and President, overseeing the U.S. business and global functions spanning operations, development, marketing, innovation, analytics, communications, and technology. Since joining Domino’s in 2008 as CMO, Weiner played a key role in the brand’s turnaround, leading the “Pizza Turnaround” campaign and several product, store, and digital innovations. He holds degrees from Cornell University and New York University’s Stern School of Business and serves on the board of The Clorox Company.
